One of my girlfriends got a copy of Vitals Woman last week, and it's a really good magazine. The cool thing is, it's FREE! Yeah yeah, who cares, it's just a magazine. BUT, you can sign your girlfriend up to receive a free copy and really make her day! See, I'm trying to help you score points. :)

Netflix or Blockbuster?

I like to watch movies, and though I don't have as much time to relax with a good DVD as I would like, I still manage to work in about 2 per week. Lately I've been thinking about joining one of the "by mail" DVD clubs, specifically Netflix or Blockbuster.

I know Netflix has been around a long time, but Blockbuster is such a big name that I wonder if perhaps I should go with them. I have no experience either way, so I could use some suggestions. Does anyone here use either of these services, and if so, what do you think of them?

Free Ringtones!

If you're like me, you enjoy having your phone do silly rings from time to time. The problem is that most phones come with a pathetically small number of tunes built into them, and the cell providers charge a ridiculous amount of money for new ones.

Well no more! There's a nifty, free service that will let you upload any MP3 or MIDI file to your phone (assuming your phone can support these types of rings) right from the web. I've tried it and it seems to work perfectly, check it out yourself.

No more dry hands!

I really don't like winter very much. Sure, there are times that snuggly clothes are nice, as it cuddling up with a blanket in front of the fire, but overall I just don't like it.

One reason not to like winter is how dry the air is, and as a result, how dry my skin gets. I go through lots and lots of lotion just keeping my skin supple, and even then my hands can be a problem since they are exposed most of the time and I need to keep them from being greasy so I don't muck up my computer.

I found the answer! Gold Bond Ultimate Lotion! This stuff is amazing, it doesn't take much to cover my hands and it lasts a very long time. And the best thing is that it doesn't make my hands smell like a man's crotch. Not that there's anything wrong with a man's crotch of course, but you know what I mean. :)

Things you find in the store

So far I haven't had the urge to have children of my own, and after noticing this little item at the grocery store that urge might get put off another 10 years!
